Do I need to get rid of my animals before my baby arrives?
I’m anxious because I have a dog and cat at home. Everyone is telling me that I need to get rid of them before the baby arrives because they will hurt it. Marie, do you think I need to do that?
Manon
Manon, an animal will always remain an animal. That doesn’t mean something bad will happen, but master of your animals, you’re responsible for preparing them for the arrival of your baby. So always remain watchful of them. During significant changes in their lives they can change a lot, just like the case of a new baby in the home. You can find more details in the articles Dog, Cat and Baby and Dog, Cat and Returning Home.
