Marie, I would like to regain my pelvic floor strength, but I don’t have the means to go to a physiotherapist repeatedly. Four months after childbirth, can do something else, something that costs less? I don’t have insurance. I am a bit worried because I’m 35 and am losing urine. I don’t know if I am doing my Kegel exercises correctly. After three babies, I think I should try to prevent it from getting worse.
Thanks for your help, Camille
Camille, I am happy to see that you are concerned about your wellbeing. The pelvic floor goes through a lot with three pregnancies and deliveries. But there are ways that you can firm up your pelvic floor’s muscle structure and limit, at least in part, your urine problem. First, if I may, you should see a physiotherapist to have your condition examined and get basic exercises you can do, such as Kegel exercises for example. You can use other tools, such as LadySystem®. Please read my article about strengthening the pelvic floor (in french). I wrote another article about experimenting with LadySystem®. It includes the information you need to start your training.
