Can I eat thyme or rosemary while pregnant?
My name is Maxime, and I love thyme and rosemary. On some websites, I read that these herbs can be neurotoxic. Is this true? I hope to continue using them on my pizza and in my sauces during my pregnancy. Maxime
Hello Maxime,
After checking, it’s safe to use thyme and rosemary in your diet during pregnancy. However, avoid infusing these spices. Thyme has been shown to have undesirable effects. There are no studies on rosemary. Avoid them in herbal teas, but no problem for your pizza! 😊

In fact, it isnt not recommended, but remember that is better with moderation. An occasional cup of tea during your pregnancy, no problem. Remember that it can also contains caffeine (unless otherwise indicated) therefore, no more than 3 per day during pregnancy. For your baby, their is no problem either if taken moderately.

Hi! I had a small cup of ginseng tea when I was 9 weeks pregnant. I checked online saying that it is not safe to eat or drink while pregnant! This stresses me out. I’m now 12+ weeks pregnant. Is my unborn baby okay? Please reply me, thank you!
