Yesterday I was scared when I saw my 8-month-old daughter’s labia minora were stuck together and closed. I ran to the emergency room and a doctor there explained to me what it meant. Alexandra, thank you for your kind words and for your suggestion. In fact, labial adhesion, which is also called fused labia, occurs frequently and is not dangerous for your baby as long as they can urinate. I wrote a full article about labial adhesion for more information.
