Pregnancy and the dentist!

11-12 weeks pregnant, Health advice

Is it safe and recommended to continue visiting the dentist for dental cleanings during pregnancy, even in the last trimester? Absolutely!

In fact, pregnancy increases the risk of dental problems, such as pregnancy gingivitis, due to hormonal changes. It is therefore normal for gums to bleed slightly during cleaning or flossing. However, there is no need to worry.

Continue to take care of your oral health, and do not postpone your dental appointments!
