Boiled water for my baby?

Postnatal, Your questions

Hello Marie,

Last week you told me I could give my one-month-old baby Romie boiled water (at room temperature). If I use bottled water, do I still have to boil it?

Thanks!

Annick

Yes, because bottled water is not sterilised!

A baby’s defence system under four months of age is still immature, so an ounce of prevention is always worth a pound of cure! You have to boil the water you use for your formulas or the water you give to your baby to avoid infections. After four months, you can use tap water as long as your water meets health quality standards.
