How do I sterilise a bottle nipple?

35-36 weeks pregnant, Health advice, Postnatal, Your questions

I am fed up sterilising bottle nipples in a pot. It takes a lot of time, and I was wondering if there are other ways. Thanks for your response! Danielle

Sterilising bottle nipples does indeed require a lot of time. Also, if you have a dishwasher that gets hot enough, you can sterilise everything in a wash. You can buy plastics boxes with holes in them. Place all the bottle accessories in it and then run a wash cycle. This is very practical. There are also sterilising bags you can use in the microwave. You add all the accessories and a bit of water. Please watch my video capsule on how to use this bag to sterilise your bottles in two minutes.

Of course, you can also find electric sterilisers in major department stores. They vary in price and functions. It’s up to you to choose the technique that fits your needs. I hope this short text has answered your question. Please watch my video about Bottles to see all the options.
