Marie, I heard someone say that there is arsenic in baby cereal. This worries me…my baby is over five months old and ready to start. But I don’t dare because of what I heard. Can you help? Angèle

In fact Angèle, there are very tiny amounts of arsenic in many foods found in grocery stores, including baby cereals. However, food safety regulations ensure that the quantity will not impact the baby.

As a warning, you should avoid brown rice cereal made by Healthy, as it contains too much arsenic. I hope this has help reassure you!

Talk soon,
