Is the baby in the placenta?

Hello Marie! Can you clarify what it means having the placenta in the front? I thought the baby was in the placenta!

Nope! Mariska, the placenta is stuck to the inside of your uterus, and its position varies from one woman and one pregnancy to another. The baby is in the amniotic sac, surrounded by amniotic fluid.
