Is the baby in the placenta?

19-20 weeks pregnant, Questions/answers

Mariska

Nope! Mariska, the placenta is stuck to the inside of your uterus, and its position varies from one woman and one pregnancy to another. The baby is in the amniotic sac, surrounded by amniotic fluid.
